Liberia And Qatar To Explore New Areas of Cooperation- Strengthen Ties And Cooperation

Monrovia, Liberia - Vice President Joseph Nyuma Boakai has reassured the Ambassador of Qatar accredited to Liberia of Government’s determination to work with the Qatari Government to explore new areas of cooperation and to stregnthen the already cordial ties subsisting between the two nations.

The Vice President said he looks forward to seeing a delegation from Quatar to come to Liberia and explore investment possibilities.

Vice President Boakai was speaking Thursday at his Capitol Building Office when he received in audience His Excellency Mohammed Ismail Al-Emadi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to Liberia.

The Vice President made specific reference to the Agriculture and Fishery sectors as areas with great potential for investment in Liberia.

Earlier, Ambassador Al-Emadi conveyed his country’s best wishes to the Government and people of  Liberia and said he was grateful for the opportunity to meet with the Vice President.

He said while in Liberia, he will work to leave his footprints in the country and live up to the expectations of the two countries as well as strengthen Qatari-Liberia relationship above what he calls excellent levels.
