President Sirleaf Actualizes Donations; LBS Tokpa Tarnue, Others Smile

Monrovia, Liberia: President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf on Saturday, June 24, 2017 fulfilled several donations to institutions and individuals as a result of promise made during her recent nationwide county tour. The donations included three TSV Motorbikes, one 5.5 KVA generator and one rice processing machine for female farmers of River Cess County. 
 
According to an Executive Mansion release, the donations were made on behalf of President Sirleaf by Mr. Toe K. Wesseh, Coordinator of Special Presidential Services in the Office of the President.  Recipients of Saturday’s donations included LBS Lofa County correspondent, Tokpa Tarnue, Madam Marie Zoego, President, Liberia Marketing Association (LMA), River Cess - both of whom received one motorbike each.  
 
Mr. Wesseh however disclosed that Putu Central High School in Grand Gedeh County received one 5.5 KVA generator while a physically challenged in Grand Kru County received the third motorbike.  He said President’s Sirleaf goodwill gesture was part of her way of identifying with and fulfilling commitment to citizens during her recent tour. 
 
In separate remarks, Madam Marie Zoego of River Cess and Tokpa Tarnue also of Radio Kintomah thanked President Sirleaf for her benevolent gesture and expressed thoughtfulness on behalf of the beneficiaries and commended the Liberian leader for her continued interest in the welfare of ordinary Liberians. They assured the President that the donation will be used for the purpose intended.
