President Weah Extends Condolence to the People of Cote D'ivoire

Monrovia, Liberia - The President of the Republic of Liberia, His Excellency George Manneh Weah, herewith extends his heartfelt condolence to the Government and People of Cote D’Ivoire on the passing of eighteen of their citizens as a result of the severe storm that engulfed them.

 



The President would like to convey his highest assurance that Liberia stands in solidarity with the Government and People of Cote D’ivoire as they endure this tragic event; and prays that God comforts the families of the fallen citizens as they mourn the passing of their loved ones.

 



The President cannot emphasize enough the resilience and fortitude of the People of Cote D’Ivoire and as such expresses great confidence in their ability to sail through this calamity as they work towards recovery.

 



It is the hope and prayer of the President that the People of Cote D’Ivoire will come out united and stronger than they have ever been as they embark on a new journey towards nation building, and that calm will be restored in the soonest possible time.
