President Boakai Receives Additional Letters of Credence from three Newly Appointed Ambassadors
Executive Mansion, Monrovia - President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., today welcomed three newly appointed Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Liberia.
At formal ceremonies held at the Executive Mansion, the President received the Letters of Credence from Ambassadors Daniel Graces Carabali of Colombia, Dominique Michel Favre of Switzerland, and Mohamed Abdellahi Khattra of Mauritania.
President Boakai expressed gratitude for the strong bilateral ties Liberia enjoys with each of the three countries and reiterated his commitment to fostering mutual cooperation and development.
In his remarks, the President highlighted Liberia’s enduring relationship with Colombia, emphasizing its historical significance and the potential for enhanced collaboration, particularly in investment opportunities.
H.E. Daniel Graces Carabali, representing Colombia, affirmed his country’s deep-rooted connections with Africa and pledged to work towards strengthening bilateral relations.
The Liberian President acknowledged Switzerland’s significant contributions, particularly in the development of Liberia’s water systems.
Welcoming Ambassador Dominique Michel Favre, President Boakai expressed interest in advancing economic and trade partnerships.
In response, Ambassador Favre underscored the importance of maintaining and expanding existing ties for mutual benefit.
In his interaction with Mauritanian Ambassador Mohamed Abdellahi Khattra, President Boakai emphasized the values of mutual respect and international cooperation.
Ambassador Khattra, for his part, conveyed his gratitude for Liberia’s warm reception and vowed to uphold diplomatic protocols while working towards deepening bilateral relations.
