Executive Mansion, Monrovia – President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has officially commissioned newly appointed executives of the Central Bank of Liberia (CBL), including the Executive and Deputy Governors, as well as Ambassadors designated to represent Liberia in various countries.
The ceremony, held at the Executive Mansion, echoed the President’s commitment to national development, integrity in public service, and strengthening Liberia’s international standing.
In his address, President Boakai accentuated the critical role of both financial leaders and diplomatic representatives in advancing the country's progress. He called upon the appointees to serve with honesty, patriotism, and unwavering dedication to the Liberian people. “We must look within ourselves and recognize that no country can be greater than its own people’s commitment to building it,” President Boakai stated. He reminded Liberians that, “Public service is not about personal gain; it is about working for the Liberian people those in Monrovia and all across the nation,” noting, “We have everything we need here to build a stronger Liberia, and if we manage our resources well, we can achieve sustainable progress.”
The President emphasized that the Central Bank’s Leadership plays a crucial role in ensuring economic stability, fostering financial growth, and promoting policies that benefit all Liberians.
