Executive Mansion, Monrovia  –  President Joseph Boakai, Sr. has signed the Book of Condolence in honor of the late Senator Sumo Kupee of Lofa County. The solemn event took place at the Rotunda of the National Legislature, as President Boakai joined family members, government officials, and citizens to remember and celebrate Senator Kupee’s life and contributions to Liberia.

Senator Kupee, a respected leader from Lofa County, dedicated his life to public service, tirelessly advocating for the development and well-being of his community and the nation. His leadership and commitment have left an indelible impact on both Lofa County and the people of Liberia.

In his tribute, President Boakai expressed deep sorrow over the loss of Senator Kupee, highlighting his dedication to public service and his enduring love for Liberia. “Senator Kupee was not only a colleague but a friend and a man of honor who stood firm in his convictions,” President Boakai stated. “His contributions to the Liberian people will be remembered, and his legacy will continue to inspire future generations.”

The ceremony at the Rotunda was attended by members of the legislature, government officials, and dignitaries, who gathered to express their condolences to Senator Kupee’s family and pay their respects to a dedicated public servant.
