
President Boakai Welcomes Students and Faculty of Cyber-Ed Christian School of Excellence at the Executive Mansion
Executive Mansion, Monrovia — President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., on yesterday received at the Executive Mansion a delegation of students from the Senior High Division of the Cyber-Ed Christian School of Excellence, accompanied by their faculty and Administration, following an educational tour of the historic national landmark.
The visit formed part of the School’s broader civic education and enrichment program designed to deepen students’ understanding of national governance and leadership.
During the warm and engaging interaction, President Boakai commended the students for their discipline, curiosity, and commitment to academic excellence. He emphasized that Liberia’s future rests in the hands of its youth, and reaffirmed his Administration’s dedication to strengthening the country’s educational system.
“I am pleased to welcome these bright young minds to the seat of the presidency. As a government, we are committed to building a system of education that nurtures excellence, builds character, and prepares students for the challenges of the 21st century,” the President stated, noting, “It is institutions like Cyber-Ed that are helping to shape a new generation of leaders—leaders with value, vision, and a strong sense of national pride.”
As part of their visit, the students were given a guided tour of the Executive Mansion by the Presidential Protocol team, led by Madam Cleopatra Cummings and Mrs. Zyline Smith. The tour included key sites such as the historic Executive Hall and the Presidential Conference Room. During the tour, the students were given a comprehensive briefing on the functions, responsibilities, and symbolic importance of the Presidency in Liberia’s democratic governance structure.
In addition to the tour, the students had the unique opportunity to interact with several high-ranking officials within the Office of the President. These included the Minister of State without Portfolio now Acting Minister of State, Hon. Mamaka Bility; the Minister of State Without Portfolio for Special Services, Hon. Samuel Stevequoah; the National Security Adviser to the President, Hon. Samuel Kofi Woods; the Legal Adviser, Cllr. Bushuben Keita; the Senior Adviser to the President, Hon. Augustine Konneh; the Director of the Executive Protection Service, Hon. Sam Gaye, the Spiritual Adviser, Rev. Gurly Browne; the Military Adviser, Retired Maj. Gen. Daniel Ziankan ; the Presidential Press Secretary, Atty. Kula Bonah Nyei Fofana, the Ambassador At-Large, Hon. Charles Snetter, the Assistant Minister of Public Affairs, Hon. George Saah, the Executive Secretary, Hon. Morie Nemah and others.
These interactions allowed students to gain firsthand insight into the breadth of leadership and expertise supporting the Office of the President and the inner workings of Liberia’s highest executive institution. The experience served as a civic learning opportunity and an inspiration for many of the young visitors to aspire toward service and leadership in the future.
Speaking on behalf of the school, Cllr. Soni Kanga William, Proprietor and Executive Director of the Cyber-Ed Christian School of Excellence, expressed profound gratitude to President Boakai for the warm reception and for his leadership in prioritizing education and youth development.
“We are deeply honored by the President’s generous acceptance of our visit and his inspirational words to our students today,” Cllr. William said. She pointed out that, “This experience has not only broadened their knowledge of government but also instilled in them a renewed sense of civic responsibility and patriotism.”
Cllr. William further noted that the visit aligns with Cyber-Ed’s mission to provide a holistic, technologically savvy and faith-based education that empowers students to become ethical leaders and global citizens.
The Cyber-Ed Christian School of Excellence, located in Congo Town, Monrovia, has gained national recognition for its innovative curriculum, academic performance, and strong emphasis on Christian values, technological advancement and character development.
The visit ended with group photographs symbolizing a shared hope for a brighter and more empowered generation of young Liberians.
